Dinner conversation

A discussion of the game Cootie overheard at the dinner table:

J: How do you play that game?
M: Well, you throw the "block of ice" (dice) and try to get a 1 to get a leg.
J: A block of ice? Do you put it in your tea after?
M: No, you use ice cubes for that...

Too funny!

It rained all day, so we were stuck inside. I ended up bringin the kids down into the basement with me. They actually played well together and dind't get into my stitching stuff too much. I think ti was a good idea to make a play area down here. This way, I don't feel totally disconnected to the world during the day.

I'm up to the 13th Bond film, Octopussy. James Bond is still a man whore. I think by this film, Roger Moore was looking a bit old for the role. On the documantary on the DVD, they showed James Brolin doing a screen test to potentially play Bond because initially, RM hadn't wanted to do it. Ick. I don't think it would have worked. Bond cannot be played by an American.

I pulled out Mirabilia's The Kiss. I checked and the last time I worked on this peice was May, 2005. Yikes! I think it was all of those RR's that got in my way. It was nice to get back to it. Check out my WIP page to see where I was before tonight. I'll post a WIP pic soon!
