Great weekend!

We had a really nice day yesterday for our anniversary. It started when my MIL came over at 7 AM and took charge of the ids. John and I slept in until 10AM. Man, that was so nice. Then she made us all brunch. M's friend came over in the early afternoon and they had a great time playing outside. They were in the little pool until they turned blue. Later on in the early evening, John and I went out to dinner and a movie. My mother stayed over to watch the kids. Dinner was fabulous and the movie (Transformers) was a lot of fun. I was worried it might be cheesy, but I actually thought it was great.

Today, we went to a flea market near mom's house. Thankfully, it was a relatively cool day. That place is dusty with no shade! I found a huge book score. This guy was selling an huge box full of Sesame Street books, Disney Learning series Books, and other assorted kids books for $5.00. The series of books are from the 80s and early 90s. There had to be 30+books in there. They are great and M is thrilled! They were a bit dusty, but in great shape. I couldn't pass it up.

M and P both have been fighting fevers. Yesterday, M was much better (otherwise, I would have kept her out of the pool), but today, she seems to be sick again. I think it is a cold, since she is losing her voice and sounds stuffy. Here's hoping they are better tomorrow.
