Sticker HD

Official Potty Sticker count: 1!!!!!!!!! I called home after tutoring and M told me that she got her first sticker tonight after dinner. She was so proud of herself. Cross those fingers that she gets another one tomorrow. She is dying to get that doll. I'm hoping that after 7 stickers, the potty training will be complete, except of course for night time training.

M had a fever this morning and said she had a sore throat. She seemed better after some tylenol and a nap, so there is hope it was short lived.

Mild tutoring rant: There is nothing worse than trying to help out a kid in the summer who REALLY does not want to be there. I understand the parents desperation, but what is the kid really getting out of it if they aren't into it? I'm hoping it gets better for this student once school starts. I just got another student who starts on Tuesday, so I am up to 3 now for the rest of the summer. I hope to get some more come fall.
