Weekend wrap-up

We had a really nice weekend. Friday, SIL and BIL and niece came over for the afternoon. The kids had fun playing in the pool with BIL, while SIL and I sat out under the canopy and relaxed. Then MIL came over for a bit. It was a nice day all around.

Saturday, I got to sleep in. The kids and I spent a long time outside, playing with bubbles and swimming in the pool. Well, they went in the blow-up pool, I relaxed nearby and read. We had a nice dinner out at our favorite pizza place, then treated the kids to ice cream. Also on Saturday, M finally got her Cinderella doll. She received the 6th and 7th sticker in one day. Sunday, she had an accident in her pull-up at nap time. *sigh* I think we may need to do another round of incentive stickers to make it sink in.

Sunday, I cleaned out my car, and I mean cleaned...vacuumed, wiped the interior and washed the outside. It looks like an entirely different car. Of course, I'm sure it won't stay that way for very long, especially if my kids have anything to do with it. The rest of the day was laundry and more outside time playing with dad and in the pool.

I finished reading Harry Potter #3. I also watched the movie on Sunday. They left out so much of the book. It was frustrating watching the movie knowing everything they left out. Oh well, I guess you can't include everything, can you?

I'm working on Fantasy Sampler. I have about 3 hours left in this round,which I hope to finish up tomorrow night, so watch this space.
