Catching up

Once again, it has been a pretty busy week. I have tutored a ton and been way too tired in the evening to blog. I haven't stitched much either. So, I'll just sum up the weekend.

Friday night, we went to a wedding. It was really nice. The couple looked very happy. John and I had a lot of fun. I got to meet my friend's new boyfriend finally. Let me just say right now, that I loved him! He is really nice and John and him talked music all evening. He is so much better than her ex-husband. MIL watched the kids for us. We stayed out until about 11PM. Very unusual for us. SIL had come over earlier in the evening and did my make-up for me. I NEVER wear make-up, so it was fun to get all dressed up, make-up and all. I felt like more than just a mom. :)

Saturday, it rained all day. I slept in until about 9:30. It was heavenly! I took the kids and met up with some friends at the mall for a bit. I needed to get out of the house. Later that night, we met up with Marsha and Jack for dinner at our annual outing to Benjamin's. The kids were really good and dinner was really yummy!

Today, I took the kids to a birthday party. It was supposed to be a pool party, but since it was 66 degrees outside, no one really went swimming. The kids had fun getting wet playing in the water table. It is a good thing I always bring extra clothes!

That's it in a nutshell. Nothing super exciting. I have a really busy week ahead, then I am off to CATS next week. Woohoo!! Hopefully, I'll have a WIP photo soon.
