Weekend Update...

We had a pretty quiet weekend. The kids were pretty well behaved all weekend which was a miracle. Friday, I ended up keeping M home from school because she threw up a few times in the morning. That might be why it was pretty quiet, since she wasn't feeling well. I tutored yesterday and we went out for dinner to Friendly's. Today, John had to go into work for a while, so I took the kids to the grocery store and Target. The rest of the day was laundry and hanging out.

I finished the needleroll that I stared at CATS. I'm hoping that my stitching slump is gone, so I'm going to go back to the next piece in my rotation, Moonlight Guardian. I think that I have been avoiding working it because of the kreinik. So, I am going to try to do 10 hours, but if I get tired of the kreiniks, then I'll cut it short and move on. Anyway, here is the Needleroll. I still need to do the hem stitching and put it together, but at lest the stitching is complete.

This is "Something for Everyone" by Liz Navickas. It was a petite project workshop at one of my EGA chapter meetings last year. I changed the color from pink to purple. I like it a lot better this way, since I'm not really big on pink.

Have I mentioned P's favorite past time lately?

If there is a shelf with books on it, they won't stay that way for very long. *sigh*

Beautiful needleroll!!

Hope M is feeling better and the rest of you don't catch it!

I remember DS going through the bookshelf stage... it nearly drove me crazy!

Beautiful, Kari! Congratulations on the finish! I hope you're out of your stitching slump, as I love watching your progress!

Beautiful work. You could always fight a stitching slump with a new hobby like quilting, knitting or crochet.
By the way, during the book phase we put the kids books within reach and moved the grownup books out of range.
