Catching up

I have been meaning to blog all week, but have just put it off. Been busy, tired, not on the computer much at night...take your pick.

I saw Sweeney Todd last weekend. I thought it was excellent! The music was great, the singing was great. I loved everything about it. I will admit that it was a bit over the top gory, even for a horror fan like me. But I got over that after the first couple of throat slashes. LOL

Have you ever noticed that with the second child you all of a sudden need equipment that you never needed with the first one? P is obsessed with juice boxes. He has learned how to open the straw and put it into the box. The problems is that he doesn't get the concept of not squeezing the box. I have tried to show him, but he gets upset thinking that I am taking it away from him. I never had to deal with this with M. She learned right away. So, I went hunting for something to help. I ordered these on Monday. I am hoping they help and he will want to use them. If they can save the squeeze messes, then I will be very happy!

This writers' strike needs to end soon! I want my show back!!!! American Idol started this week. Yay! I have to ask...why would you admit to collecting fingernails. Eww!! Also, it is now season 7. Do people really think they are going to make it through with a gimmick? Has anyone else noticed that every girl they are putting through looks like the same tall skinny blond? I hope this season is better than last year. I can't take another Sajaya!

I haven't been stitching much the past couple of nights. Just vegging in front of the TV, and had a EGA meeting and a PTU meeting. It has also been too cold!! I am ready for spring now!
