A Bed Start

After 10 hours of stitching:



The domed piece will be a pillow. I just need to add lace to it. I am actually enjoying working on this. But I think I will take a little break and work on some cross stitch. I'll probably pull out The Kiss this week.


We had a busy week last week and a busy weekend. We did get the kids' photo taken with the Easter Bunny. P hated him and the photo proves it. I did buy them because I wanted to preserve the memory and I think it is cute. I haven't had a chance to scan it in yet.

Wednesday I went to a Fundraising luncheon to get idea for our PTU. The lunch was nice, but the presentation was boring. Fundraising is so hard when money is tight for everyone. Friday, P and I attended a Mommy and me gymnastics class at the Y. He loved it! I had fun as well. M is sick with a cough, but she is in high spirits. Saturday, I tutored, then took the kids to a birthday party, then to M&J's house for dinner. Sunday was shopping, laundry and helping a friend with getting her resume on Monster and Hot Jobs, and baking a cake for y mother's birthday.

I worked today. I just found that I am going to be moving labs again! It's only one floor up, so I can do a lot by myself without having to box things. This better be the last move for a while! The bonus is that I get a window this time, Yay!
