Milestones and changes

Peter got his first haircut on Friday. He did fairly well. He looks like such a little boy now. I can still see a little of the baby in his face, but I know it will be gone soon. Today, I gave away all of the baby equipment. We know that we are done having kids and it went to a couple who really can use it and will appreciate it. So many people were so generous with us, it feels good to pass it on. But, it makes me sad at the same time. It's the final confirmation that we are done. Tonight, P is sleeping in a big boy bed for the first time. He has been climbing out of his crib and both John and I were concerned that he would hurt himself. So, John converted the crib into the daybed. Peter will be 2 in 3 weeks and he won't be a baby anymore. My babies are growing up and it is going by way too fast. *sniff*
