Catching up again...

So, what's been happening? I've been busy with work and tutoring. I have had no time during the day to really get on the computer and at night, I have been making my self stay off it as much as I can and stitch and go to bed early. This would account for the lack of blogging lately.

The kids are good. P is in a toddler bed now. He is getting better about going to bed at night. But he still gets up a couple of times before he will finally settle in for the next few hours. I say that because he has yet to sleep longer then 4 hours at a stretch. *sigh* I figure I'll sleep again at some point in my life. I guess it just won't be now. At least M is an awesome sleeper.

Speaking of M, she is pull-up free now. Even though she has been day time trained for a long time, we were still putting pull-ups on her at night. She finally had about 2 weeks of a dry pull-up in the AM, so I have started letting her sleep with underwear at night. So far in 5 nights, we have only had one accident. Not too bad. She is so proud of herself and sets out her PJ's and underwear for the night after she gets dressed in the morning.

We bought the kids a wooden swing set. It's really nice. IT has a tower with a slide and a little rock climbing wall. Under the tower there is a picnic table. I'll take a picture of it when it stops raining. It was delivered and set up yesterday, so the kids were able to play on it for a little while, but of course it rained all day today, so they were upset. Tomorrow looks to be the same way. Oh well.

P's birthday part is tomorrow. His actual birthday isn't until the 14th, but I am having it early because I can't have it next weekend. I will be away. I'm pretty set for it. I need to get up early to make sure the house looks decent. He is having a Blue's Clues theme. I can't wait to see the cake. I'll try to post photos on Sunday.

John has to go to Scottsdale, AZ on Sunday for a week for work. I'm not looking forward to him being gone, but my mo is coming and staying a few nights to help out.
