RAOK
I thought I would share a "Random Act of Kindness" that was bestowed upon me last Thursday. It wasn't in the form of stitching or something material, but in a small piece of reassurance, given at just the right moment. I took the kids to Target and then to the grocery store. They did not behave at all in Target and I knew I was pushing my luck going to food shopping with them, but I really needed to get it done. Anyway, I was in the produce section and at my wits end after telling M sternly (and probably a bit snippy---OK a there was a lot of snip in my voice) "No" for the 6th time in as many minutes. I looked up and saw a woman observing me and the kids. I immediately was waiting for a look of disgust or shaking of the head for how I had just spoken to my child. Instead, she smiled and said, "Don't worry, honey, you will get through this. It will get better." She proceeded to tell me her kids were in college now, but she remembers being in the same moment with her 2 when they were little and that does get easier and all passes too quickly. Then she turned and went on with her shopping. I was at first stunned, as this isn't the usual response that one gets after yelling at their child in public. Then, I felt a sense of peace as if she was a little angel sent to me at the moment I needed her the most. She was right, the moment passed and I got through it. I calmed down and the rest of the trip went a bit smoother. So, to my shopping angel, whoever you are, I say THANK YOU. You helped me when I needed it most and I hope that you are repaid in kind someday as well!

That was very sweet! I'm so glad she appeared when you needed her. Amazing how that works sometimes, isn't it?
I've had a couple of "Angel" moments too - in the grocery store too! I'm glad she came along when you needed her most!
