Happy Anniversary! We just got back from a very nice dinner at my favorite restaurant. It was yummy!

It was another busy week. we FINALLY got our carpet installed on Thursday. My mother took M and P from Wednesday to Friday. Wednesday, I painted at the school and then I went home and cleaned. The carpet didn't arrive until almost 4 pm on Thursday, so other than staining the wood around the new slider, I couldn't really do anything until the carpet was installed. So, I sat on my behind, watched movies and stitched. Friday morning, I got up and moved everything out of my living room back into my basement. I'm still putting stuff away, but everything is back to normal for the most part. John still needs to hang the doors, but that can be done anytime. I will admit, it was so quiet and absolutely fabulous not to hear mommy for a couple of days. :)I love my kids, but the break was nice!I was a little worried how P would be away from me for a few days, especially during the night, but he did great. She is going to take them again for a couple of days in August.

This weekend was pretty laid back. John and I have both had colds, so we didn't really do much. The kids got their hair cut on Saturday morning and we did our shopping. MIL cam over int he afternoon and hung out with the kids. I did laundry. Sunday, John had to work, so I took the kids grocery shopping and we played outside. IT was really hot this weekend, so they played in the pool as much as they could.

Last week, I received my fantasy exchange from Jen. She was kind enough to make up for my sender whose package was apparently lost in the mail. Anyway, this is what she sent:

I also have a happy dance. M and I were in Michaels a few weeks ago and they had these little Janlynn Disney character kits on clearance. I scooped up a bunch to do for the kids. I swapped out the Aida for 36 ct. ant. white. Here are Goofy and Ariel. Can you guess which one if for M? LOL
