Taste of her own medicine

P bit m today, hard on the chest. Hard enough to leave a bruise matching many of the ones M has left on P with her teeth. She cried for a long time. While P did get punished, I was kind of glad that 1) M got a taste of her own medicine and 2) P stood up for himself. Now, don't hate me, I did comfort her and make sure P knew it was wrong to bite. But, sometimes M doesn't know her own strength and often hurts P. She will grab him in a headlock and it scares him. Is it too much to hope that M will think about this the next time she goes to grab P? I know...probably not.

I haven't been posting because I have actually been stitching. It's been cool this week, so I am making good progress on one of teh stocking I am doing for a woman who is paying me. I promised to have this and another one to her by the end of September. So, those are my focus pieces right now. I'll post a pic soon.

I understand completely. At least you know that being a boy, P will one day be bigger than M, and M will not be able to "bully" him. In any case it stinks when your kids fight, but I never met a set of sibs that didn't at one time or another!
