Happy Veterans Day!

Today, please remember all of the men and women who have made the decision to serve and defend the amazing country we live in today. I salute all who came before, all who are serving now, and all who will choose to join in the future. You are my heroes!

I had to add... I find this discussion that I read about on Michael Graham's website just sad and disgusting! When did joining the military become a political statement? I guarantee those people would be the first in line crying for the military if the need arose.

Wow, I think that's really sad! Joining the military shouldn't be a political thing. It's a patriotic thing, and you can be patriotic whether you're a Republican, a Democrat, or neither. My brother who is further left than I am is planning to join the Navy once he completes his physical. I think he'd be pretty disgusted by this, as am I! No matter what I think about a politician or whether I agree with a military effort or not, the men and women serving our country absolutely deserve our respect and support!!
