Long and overdue update.....
Wow, October got away from me. I've just been swamped with work, PTU, the kids activities and trying to catch up on stitching. Blogging has been last on my list. I am going to try to get Halloween photos up later tonight.
In good news...P has used the potty 2x in the past 2 days. I'm not getting my hopes up, but it is progress.
In bad news...my candidate lost the election. *sigh* It is going to be a long 4 years.
The kids are doing well. M is better in the mornings getting ready for school. She was evaluated by the OT at school and was found to have mild sensitivity issues in her arms and legs. Her sleeves and pant legs are just enough of an irritant that it causes anxiety in her and that causes a tantrum. She has been wearing tights under her pants and it has made a HUGE difference. Rolling her sleeves has helped her arms as well. We have had lots of good mornings so far so as long as those things keep working, I'll keep doing them!
M has been a busy girl! She is in preschool 4 mornings a week. She also takes gymnastics on Wednesday nights and swim lessons on Friday afternoons. She is getting good at both.
P is more active than ever. He is a model in the same EI group that M used to be in. He does that once a week and his teacher says he is doing really well. He also takes gymnastics which is a bit of a challenge since he doesn't listen to his teacher much LOL. I won't sign him up for swim until he turns 3 and go in by himself. I have no desire to put on a bathing suit and get in the pool with him! P is also now doing 9 piece jigsaw puzzles by himself!
As for me, I've been working tutoring, trying to stitch, read, and be president of the PTU. Who knew I could ever be this busy?I have some stitching photos to upload, so watch for those.
I'm off to get ready for gymnastics!

How on earth did they figure that out about M? That she had that sensitivity? It never ever would have crossed my mind. I'm glad you got it figured out, though!
I'm glad they found out what was bothering M. I have a good friend whose son is now 11 and they just figured it out.
Glad to see you're alive and well!
It's good to see you posting again!! It does sound like you've been busy; I hope you can upload your stitching pics soon.
That's great they found out what was bothering M. I'm glad to hear your mornings have gotten better!
I'm glad the election is over at last. This is actually the first time I've voted for a candidate who *won*...so take some hope: if I could survive the last 8 years, you can survive the next 4! And hey, if/when things happen that you don't like, at least you'll get to use the "well I didn't vote for him" response. ;)
Hope things get a little less busy for you soon, and yay on the P potty progress!
